I felt instantly comfortable around Donald, as though our souls had been familiar with one another for ages. “Our chemistry was unmistakable, and our bond seemed effortless,” the ex-model elaborated. 

In the coming months, their connection grew stronger. At 28, Melania was captivated by Donald’s extraordinary personality. “Having traveled the world and met various people, I considered Donald to be unique, a refreshing change,” she stated. 

She remarked, “His dedication and achievements were commendable.” He conveyed an impression of genuineness. He possessed a vibrant enthusiasm for life that was contagious. He was both successful and diligent, yet also very grounded and genuine. “I truly appreciated that aspect of him.” 

Although they have an age gap of 24 years, they formed a genuine bond. She contemplated his personal aspect, “As I became more acquainted with him, I understood that the public only perceived a fraction of Donald Trump. In private, he showed his true character as a gentleman, exhibiting kindness and consideration. 

Nonetheless, their relationship encountered initial difficulties. In January 2000, while Donald was seeking the Reform Party nomination, he and Melania had a short breakup. Their time apart was brief, and by February, they had made up.
