Among the videos he shared on TikTok Preston Ordone gained fame as ‘Okay Baby’ before he tragically passed away because of ‘critical injuries’ at just 2-years-old – A look at his story and life.

Obituaries from Preston Ordone’s Ordone family spread grief throughout the TikTok community where he had earned the nickname “Okay Baby.” Upon learning about his death his grandfather has chosen to communicate his thoughts publicly.

Louisiana State Police arrived at a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Interstate 12 (I-12) within St. Tammany Parish on April 24, 2025. Two adult individuals and their son Preston (who was two years old) occupied the vehicle which was later confirmed as Jaelan and Katelynn Ordone.

Hospital staff received the patients with serious medical conditions before transporting them to their respective local institutions. Law enforcement established that the driver operated their 2011 Ford F-150 truck eastbound along I-12 before the vehicle deviated from the road to hit a tree in what remains under investigation.

At the time of the accident police reported that Jaelan and Katelynn remained properly secured while their son received “improper” restraint in his safety seat. Medical services continue to treat both members of the couple.

Friends of Katelynn and her family published a video update through her social media platforms after the wreck occurred. The friends disclosed that Paisley attended school at the moment of the accident since she is Preston’s older sibling.

The medical status of Jaelan and Katelynn showed Katelynn underwent several broken bone healing along with a dangerous head injury. Katelynn made her first walk since the accident during the day they recorded the update for their audience.

Additional information revealed that Jaelan required emergency medical procedures to surgery his leg and he stayed in different hospitals from Katelynn. Many fans of Preston and his family contacted him to offer their prayers and additional support.

Due to their increasing medical expenses and their situation the Ordone family started a GoFundMe. The fundraiser statement first recounts the accident history and then confirms that Preston Ordone who was lovingly known as the ‘Okay Baby’ on TikTok died after being in the back seat due to the accident. The hospital declared Preston deceased after he received critical injuries from the collision.

The fundraising initiative aimed to collect $50,000 yet has successfully reached $39,326 at present. Doctor and patient Jaelan and Preston reside at Lakeview Hospital while working toward recovery.

Glen Norris spoke with Nola.com reporter by phone when they visited Preston at the medical facility. The information published in State Police’s report received opposition from the subject.

The report states that Preston received improper seatbelt safety but Glen insisted his safety restraint system was correct. Glen stated how the family received medical treatment at the doctor before the accident took place.

The witness driving behind the truck told Glen that he saw Preston properly fastened when Preston was taken out of the vehicle. According to the witness accounts Preston had received appropriate restraint during transport.

The death of the boy caused Glen to become unresponsive. The police report continued to infuriate him though it sent strong emotions of hurt and pain throughout his body. According to Trooper Marc Gremillion Nola.com obtained confirmation that the report is precise given the present available data. Still, the investigation is ongoing.

Everyone who surrounded Preston considered him the particular shining light of their lives. The TikTok audience loved his videos where he received directions from his mother followed by gleeful “Okay!” before contradicting her commands.

Paisley occasionally appeared on the clips alongside Preston while he enjoyed playing in nature or in the water because the young boy loved outdoor activities. A video which he posted less than nine days prior became his final recording.

Among numerous families who lost their children stands the Ordones family as they weep for the departed. Late this month a teenager died when gunmen fired their weapons in front of his caregiver.

The fatal gun violence that occurred in Bayside, Queens on Saturday night took both Neo Secaira who was 17 years old and 28-year-old U.S. Marine Frank Liu. The complex love triangle between a young female led to fatal events which made both a mother suffer great pain while leaving residents called for help.

The 911 emergency call which directed law enforcement arrived soon after 10 p.m. on April 12 in the area surrounding Oceania Street and 48th Avenue.

The police found Neo with a single gunshot wound in his chest as well as Frank who received a fatal gunshot injury to his head. The medical staff at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital determined the deaths of the two victims through examinations.

New York City police think that a burst of jealousy from an unstable love triangle between the victims led to their fatal gunshot injuries. The law enforcement investigation established that a 19-year-old woman stood beside the scene while the fighting took place between both involved men. The Marine stood enraged because the 19-year-old woman had just separated from Frank while dating Neo.

The woman who called him made him absent early from his workplace so she could be picked up. Through his employer Yolanda Secaira learned that the rare phone call caused her son to depart from work. She never thought it would be the final occasion when he decided to leave his employment.

A woman revealed to Yolanda about the death of her son through a startling conversation that involved informing her about the man who took his life. The woman contacted her house at exactly 7:50 this morning according to her testimony. The woman approached me with a question about his curly hair. I said, ‘Yes.’ She informed me that your son died after my son completed a homicide. I said, ‘What? Your son killed my son?’ She said yes.”

The mother felt broken from hearing the story as she watched her husband being pointed out then the lady left.

Huili Liu described his deep troubles when he talked about his son Frank. While under psychological care for service-related reasons he received overseas treatment following the deaths of several fellow soldiers. When Huili experienced military summons and these events as a combination she felt the burden became unbearable.

Both Frank and the woman of 19 met each other when he served at his military base in North Carolina. The woman moved to New York after their North Carolina meeting to continue dating both men. The person in charge of building maintenance who knew Frank mentioned the youth displayed unpredictable behavior from time to time which included episodes of furious and confused reactions.

One of the witnesses named Jennie Kim heard multiple gunshots combined with help screams coming from a woman that evening. The distressed young woman stood in front of the crime location when the observer and her daughter saw her.

The time has arrived for his family to perform his funeral arrangements. Everyone who wants to pay their respects can visit him at St. Michael’s Cemetery in East Elmhurst from Tuesday April 15, 2025 between the times of 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There is ongoing tribute expressed through love on Hall’s memory wall which honors his memory. Through her work Emma Sioson expressed “You will always be a special memory.. I love you with all my heart [sic].” Through your heart I express eternal love [sic].

Others voiced similar feelings. Cesar Cabrera, Sean Margraf, and Bianca Suwara expressed, “Neo, you are no longer here, but the memories we created will endure forever [sic].” You will forever remain in our hearts. “Sending our thoughts to your family.”

David Bermejo conveyed sorrow regarding the loss, reminiscing about their moments at the Boy’s Club and extending sympathies to Neo’s sibling. Hadia Saleh remembered how Neo possessed a talent for enhancing any discussion, despite their infrequent talks.

Ms. Maharajh, a teacher, recalled Neo as courteous and compassionate, emphasizing his decision to join her French class and engage even though he was not registered. “He was kind, courteous, respectful, and truly a treasure among all the students,” she wrote. “Left too early!” “We will all feel your absence, Neo!”

The NYPD has not officially disclosed the names of the victims and stated that the investigation is still in progress. Regrettably, Neo is not the sole 17-year-old who has passed away lately. In another equally tragic event, William Turner lost his life while heading to the prom that same Saturday.
